South Tyneside Young People's Parliament

South Tyneside Young People's Parliament (STYPP) are young people from across South Tyneside, aged between 12 to 18 years old.

They discuss and take action on issues that affect young people living in South Tyneside.

What we do

STYPP is a great way to meet new people and make a difference in a fun and informal environment.

We discuss issues that affect young people living in South Tyneside and come up with ways to help.

Latest campaign

South Tyneside Young People's Parliament's (STYPP) campaign focus for 2022 was "Health and Well-being".

As part of the campaign, we put together a list to show what services are available and places young people can visit in South Tyneside.

Luke Hall - MYP for South Tyneside

Meet Luke!

Luke Hall is our Member of Youth Parliament (MYP) for South Tyneside, as elected in March 2022.

He represents the voice of South Tyneside Young People both locally and nationally.

Working both in the community and nationwide, Luke's previous campaigns include child health and free school meals.
